# Anytime Projects

### What Is an Anytime Project?

An Anytime Project is a small student production that may use designated Anytime Project equipment without going through the Greenlighting process.

Anytime Projects are intended for creative experimentation, skill development, and smaller productions that do not require Production Office support, facility reservations, permits, insurance, or other special approvals.

### Does Your Project Qualify?

Your project may qualify as an Anytime Project if all of the following are true:

☐ It is not an [**Independent Study project**](/production-independent-studies.md)\
☐ You are using only [**approved Anytime Project equipment**](https://d2l.depaul.edu/d2l/le/content/653204/viewContent/12812881/View)\
☐ You are filming at a student-owned residence or in a public location where access is not restricted\
☐ Your production has five participants or fewer\
☐ You are not using DePaul stages, studios, classrooms, or other reservable facilities\
☐ Your project does not require permits, insurance, or Production Office support\
☐ Your project does not include [**restricted activities** ](/start-a-project/production-policies-and-safety-standards/restricted-and-prohibited-activities.md)such as [**stunts**](/start-a-project/stunts.md), [**intimacy**](/start-a-project/intimacy-coordination.md) scenes, [**prop weapons, or prop firearms**](/start-a-project/prop-weapons.md)

### Before You Begin

### Equipment & Reservations

Approved Anytime Project equipment may include:

* DSLR cameras
* Entry-level cinema cameras
* Basic lighting kits
* Basic audio kits
