# Getting Access to Cinespace

**Important:** [**Visitor and cast/crew lists**](https://d2l.depaul.edu/d2l/le/content/653204/viewContent/11635552/View) must be submitted by the required deadline. Late submissions may not be processed in time, which can prevent visitors from entering campus on the day of production.

<summary><strong>Cinespace ID</strong></summary>

Students who ride the DePaul shuttle or need regular access to the Cinespace campus should obtain a Cinespace ID.

A Cinespace ID allows you to enter through the security gate and access designated exterior doors on campus.

Before requesting a Cinespace ID, complete the required annual SCA Production Training.

#### Requesting a Cinespace ID

* Request a Cinespace ID through [**Patron Portal** ](https://cdmwebcheckout.cdm.depaul.edu/sso/patron#!/)and click on ***Depaul Cinespace: ID checkout*** when prompted .
* IDs are generally available for pickup within one hour.
* Pick up your Cinespace ID from The Cage (Loop Equipment Center).
* Return your ID by the designated deadline.

Failure to return a Cinespace ID may result in a hold on your account.&#x20;

#### Lost ID?

Email [**Nick Schmidt**](mailto:nschmid5@cdm.depaul.edu) as soon as possible. Replacement IDs may be picked up from The Cage.&#x20;

<summary><strong>Gate Access</strong></summary>

#### Who Needs Gate Access?

Gate access may be required for:

* Visitors who have not previously entered the campus
* Students picking up or returning equipment without a Cinespace ID
* Cast and crew members
* Non-student visitors

#### How Do I Arrange Gate Access?

For Greenlighting productions, gate access is coordinated through the Production Office.

For other requests, contact J.A. Hardy.&#x20;

#### Visitor Check-In

Visitors should check in at the Cinespace Welcome Center near Gate 1.

If someone experiences an access issue, they should contact the production's designated point of contact rather than DePaul staff directly. Production teams should include contact information on call sheets.&#x20;

<summary><strong>Parking at Cinespace</strong></summary>

* Lot J (upper level)
* Lot C (lower level)

Students participating in Greenlighted productions should use Lot J.

#### Parking Passes

A yellow parking pass must be displayed on the dashboard.

Passes are available at the parking lots and in the Stage Assistants Office.&#x20;

#### Overnight Parking

Overnight parking is not permitted without prior authorization.

Requests should be submitted to J.A. Hardy at least two business days in advance.&#x20;

For SCA productions:

* Update the official visitor-list template.
* Submit updates through Dynamic View.
* Submit changes at least two business days before filming whenever possible.

For non-student productions or individual visitors, send updates directly to J.A. Hardy.&#x20;
