# Closures & Holiday Schedule

### Start-of-Quarter Reservation Rules

#### Equipment Centers

Equipment centers are open for [**Anytime Project**](/start-a-project/anytime-projects.md) reservations during the first week of each quarter.

All other equipment reservations may only be made for dates beginning in the **second week of the quarter**.

#### Stages

Stages are closed to all projects during the **first week of each quarter**, including the first Saturday.

### Upcoming Inventory Closures

During inventory periods, equipment checkout, returns, stage reservations, and facility access may be limited or unavailable.

| Inventory Period       | Dates                |
| ---------------------- | -------------------- |
| Fall/Winter Inventory  | December 14–22, 2026 |
| Spring Break Inventory | March 22–25, 2027    |
| Summer Inventory       | June 14–28, 2027     |

**Plan Ahead:** If your project overlaps an inventory period, contact the appropriate equipment center, stage coordinator, or the SCA Production Office before making reservations.

Equipment center, stage, and facility hours vary throughout the academic year.

Summer, holiday, and inventory-period hours may differ from regular academic-year operations.

### Summer Hours

Summer hours begin June 14, 2027, unless a facility publishes different hours.&#x20;

| -------------------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| The Cage (Loop Equipment Center) | Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. |
| Cinespace Facilities             | Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.  |

Summer hours may affect equipment pickup, returns, reservations, stage access, and Production Office support.
